Our Recycling Business Unit currently has a need for an RCV Driver on a permanent basis. The role will be based in Bord na Mona Recycling Navan and will report to the Depot Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving and operating hook and chain trucks collecting skips from BNM Recycling customers as required. Also includes from time to time the collection of wheelie bin waste from customers, through driving an RCV (refuse collection vehicle) with helpers emptying bins on designated routes. This role is responsible for making trips between our various clinics and sites ensuring that samples are collected / delivered on time. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Make multiple trips daily between our third-party clinics, Randox Health Clinics and Laboratories. • Conduct a sample count on each trip and complete required documentation when transporting samples. Witness the accessioning count upon delivery. • Collect stock orders and deliver them to the required site. • Complete a daily vehicle checklist at the start of each day. • Record vehicle milage in the provided logbook. • Ensure vehicles are filled with the correct fuel and Ad Blue, if required. • Adhere to all speed limits and road laws. Cregoran provides a variety of residential, day and respite services to adults with intellectual disabilities who have very high support needs, grounded in the use of personal outcome measures. The Role: Minibus Driver/Porter Reporting/Responsible To: Service Coordinator/Area Manager Qualifications/Experience: • Candidates must have received a good general education and hold a full clean Driver’s Licence – Class D1 is an advantage. • Candidates must have completed their CPC examinations/modules and must hold the CPC Qualification Card. This must be produced and checked at the interview. • The successful candidate must have adequate training and driving experience to enable them to carry out satisfactorily the duties of the post and ideally have some experience of working with people with an intellectual disability. • Experience in general maintenance provision is an advantage. HGV Lorry Driver Job Ref No: FVS/D/07/25 The Role: The HGV Driver will be responsible for providing a high-quality delivery service to Fane Valley Customers and the Store network. The role involves delivering bulk animal feed and agricultural goods ensuring all orders are delivered in good condition, accurately and on time, so that customers receive excellent customer service. The Person: Must have a minimum of one year’s lorry driving experience; Have a valid HGV Class C + E driving licence; Have a Forklift licence or willing to be trained; Be fully CPC compliant; Previous customer care experience; It would be an advantage to be ADR trained and have previous experience of delivering to farms. Normal working pattern is Monday to Friday with flexibility to work Saturday on a rota basis. Starting times vary depending on the route deliveries and will involve early morning starts.
