Contract Type: Permanent Post Contract Hours: Full and Part Time Posts Salary Scale: €62,072 – €73,477 pro rata per annum. Overview of the Post: To work as a senior member of the interdisciplinary team providing services to children and families within the region. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a speech and language therapy support to an assigned caseload which may include children and their families on the community team and/or an assigned special school team. This will include assessment diagnostics and intervention, clinical and performance supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities attending our service. Services are provided to children aged 0 – 18 years with physical, sensory, and/or learning disabilities, and/or developmental delay. The successful candidate will have: Essential Criteria: · Be registered, or be eligible for registration, as a Speech & Language Therapist by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU. AND · Have 3 years’ full time (or an aggregate of 3 years’ full time) post qualification clinical experience. AND · Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office. AND · Provide proof of statutory registration on the Speech & Language Therapist Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. AND · Eligible to work in the State. Annual registration · On appointment, practitioners must maintain annual registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU.
