POSITION SUMMARY: The Jigsaw Service Administrator is an important youth-friendly role which will be a first point of contact for young people who call into the Jigsaw Hub and will be able to give information or direct them to support staff in the Hub. The Service Administrator will also have responsibility for the day to day administration support for Jigsaw to ensure efficient project delivery. Slron/- / Radiation Therapy Service Manager III
Established in 2010, St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) operates from three Dublin locations – St Luke’s Hospital Rathgar and St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Centres on the campuses of St James and Beaumont Hospitals. The Network provides a full range of world class treatments including a comprehensive VMAT programme, Intra-cranial Stereotactic (SRS), Extra-cranial Stereotactic (SBRT), Total Body Irradiation (TBI) and the national paediatric radiation oncology service. There is also a comprehensive brachytherapy service provided including both prostate seeds and ocular brachytherapy. Currently there are 14 linear accelerators within the Network, 4 in each of the centres at BC & SJC, and 6 on the Rathgar site. There are 2 CT scanners per centre. Both St James and Beaumont centres have an MRI unit. St Luke’s hospital houses the brachytherapy and superficial units. St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) has a long history of involvement in clinical trials and works very closely with Clinical Trials Ireland. St Luke’s Radiation Oncology Network (SLRON) serves patients primarily from the Dublin East, Dublin Midlands and Dublin North East regions. Referrals are also received on a wider basis from around the country for the specialist services offered. The Radiation Service Therapy Manager III is the Line Manager for all Radiation Therapists within the designated SLRON centre. Key Purpose of the Post The post holder will act as the first point of contact for members of the public seeking to access Leisure services. They will, as part of a team, ensure that services are convenient and accessible, delivered to the highest possible standards of customer service, and strive to ensure customer service standards are met and a wide range of enquiries and transactions are dealt with at the first point of contact in the Leisure Services. Duties and Responsibilities Customer Service and Administration Deal with a wide range of Leisure enquiries within the customer service environment as first point of contact via telephone, letter/email, face-to-face, and other mediums. Take bookings and payments for use of facilities and services within the centre, adhering to all cash handling procedures. Reconciliation of monies, e.g. security of cash, cheques, vouchers, credit and debit cards, petty cash etc. Check all data against daily records, e.g. unpaid accounts. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly statistics, record all stock, and complete end-of-year reports. Recording of inventory when required. Assist with producing marketing leaflets/booklets and web-based marketing methods. Demonstrate a team approach to achieving the objectives of the administration team through full flexibility in relation to tasks undertaken. Process memberships and associated administration. About This Role Role Purpose The successful candidate will support the delivery of research across all areas of An Coimisiún’s work. They will have opportunities to contribute to each stage of the research process, including scoping, design, data collection, analysis, reporting and dissemination to key internal and external stakeholders. They will help turn data into clear insights to support decision-making. The successful candidate may also have opportunities to support evaluation projects and the processes for monitoring of, and reporting on, the implementation of our organisational strategy. About the Team/Division The Research and Strategy team conducts and commissions research to enhance our understanding of the media landscape. This work supports evidence-based policy development, programme design and decision making. It also helps inform both the organisation and its stakeholders on how best to serve the public interest. The team also leads the development and review of An Coimisiún’s organisational strategy, and the processes by which implementation of the strategy is monitored and reported on. The Research and Strategy team sits within the Policy, Research and Strategy division. The division’s mission is to build a strong, evidence-based understanding of a broad spectrum of issues across the media landscape, including the protection of minors, democracy and fundamental rights, diversity and inclusion, exploitation and fraud, and public safety. This understanding is used to inform policy making and enforcement activities and the development of guidelines, codes and rules for broadcasters and online services.
