To be responsible for ensuring each Programme participant has the opportunity to achieve accreditation in their vocational area which is necessary to progress in training and work. The Learning Support Mentor will provide support, study guidance, motivation, and guidance to help students overcome obstacles to their learning as a result of their learning difficulty and/or disability, such as specific literacy difficulties, Autism or Asperger’s Syndrome, mental health difficulties or mobility difficulties. * This is an application to the Permanent Learning Support Register. Applicants have the potential to be offered up to 36 hours per week during term time. Student requirements are confirmed following an initial needs assessment with the Learning Support Manager / Co-ordinator at any point in the academic year.
