We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Dental Nurse to be part of our family run group of Practices and to join our team on Knock Road on a permanent basis working in a fully Denplan practice. As this is a Denplan Practice, an enhanced hourly rate will be offered. The successful applicant will work 31 hours per week from 8:30-5:30pm Monday, Wednesday and Thursday and 8:30-4:30pm on Fridays. Both qualified and trainees dental nurses are welcome to apply! Duties will include assisting the dentist, sterilising dental equipment, keeping the surgery clean and occasional reception duties. Promoting high standards of patient care at all times is vital. The Maintenance Department of St Josephs also covers daily maintenance of outlying Health Centres and HSE Residential House which include intellectual Disabilities, Mental Health Residential and Child Residential units, which are located throughout the County of Longford. St Lomans is located on the Delvin Road Mullingar. This facility consists of 44 bed care unit and day care services. The facility also consists of a Mental Health Day services unit, out of hours GP service, Dental services, Ambulance station and Administration Buildings which serve other departments not located on the grounds of St Lomans.
Electronics Technician
Job Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for electronic and maintenance activities with in a manufacturing environment comprising of both preventive and reactive duties, to also include data collection/documentation for validated systems. They will take the lead role in maintaining, troubleshooting electronic equipment and instrumentation forming part of our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant. Wheelchair Technician
Permanent, Part-Time (17.5 hours per week) As a Wheelchair Technician, you will work closely with therapists within the NRH Wheelchair & Seating Clinic and the Physiotherapy Department, supporting the provision of appropriate wheelchairs and enhancing patient care. In this dynamic role, you will assist in the management and development of the hospital’s wheelchair and seating service, contributing to both day‑to‑day operations and wider service improvements. Requirements The candidate must, on the latest date for receiving completed application forms for the office, possess: • Evidence of the relevant training/knowledge to act as a technical specialist in wheelchair modifications and repair • Evidence of experience in the wheelchair provision process to ensure timely order, receipt, assembly and delivery of seating and mobility/positioning systems • Experience of working with adults/children with acquired and/or learning disabilities in a Health Care Setting/Rehabilitation setting is advantageous. • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team • Flexibility and willingness to take a hands-on role in completion of technical work • Demonstrated commitment to Continuing Professional Development • Full, clean driving licence • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Time management skills and ability to organise own, and others’ schedules. We are hiring for a Permanent Pharmacy Technician for our Grange store, Cork. This position is open to a Fully Qualified Technician. The position is full-time, 5 days a week including every second Saturday. The hours are 9 am to 6 pm. There are no Sundays, Bank Holidays or Late Nights. The position is in a busy dispensary and would suit a candidate who has experience in working in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities · Receive written prescriptions and verify that information is complete and accurate. · Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs. Ensure all drugs are fit for supply and in date. Stock must be regularly checked to identify expired or short-dated stock and dealt with according to company procedures. · Answer telephones, responding to questions or requests. · To accurately and efficiently dispense medication per the prescriber's and pharmacists' wishes. · File prescriptions that have been filled. · Clean, and help maintain equipment and work areas. · To accept and dispose of returned medicines in a safe and environmentally responsible way. · Establish and maintain patient profiles, including lists of medications taken by individual patients. · Be fully conversant with ordering procedures related to the dispensary and maintain adequate stock levels through accurate stock figures and order placement with suppliers. · Receive and store incoming supplies, verify quantities against invoices, and inform supplier of shortages · Mix extemporaneous preparations according to prescribers and pharmacists instructions. · To be fully conversant with any necessary paperwork and procedures required to process the HSE end of month claim. · To fully comply with all company policies and procedures. · To strive to exceed customers expectations and always place the customers needs before their own.
