The Marketing Executive will be reporting to the Marketing Manager. The purpose of the role is to support the marketing team in the development and delivery of marketing campaigns, content creation, customer communications, events, and brand activity for Mackle Petfoods and its portfolio of pet food brands. This role will assist in day‑to‑day marketing operations, ensuring all activity is aligned with brand guidelines and business objectives. Mackle Petfoods, founded in 1972 and based in Co. Armagh, is one of Ireland’s leading pet food manufacturers, producing and supplying several well‑known cat and dog food brands, including Brandy, Cat Club, Naturo and Norsh, across multiple market channels nationally and internationally.· Assist in the organisation, planning and delivery of consumer events, trade shows and exhibitions; occasional attendance is required.· Support with award submissions for all brands, including researching upcoming award opportunities, gathering required information, and helping prepare high‑quality entries.· Assist with charity partnerships, including managing product orders, coordinating requests, and exploring opportunities to improve brand involvement in charitable initiatives.· Support the management, organisation and stock control of marketing materials, branded merchandise, event equipment and promotional items.· Conduct market research and competitor tracking; compile findings into clear reports with key insights and recommendations.· Assist in the coordination, planning and execution of multi‑channel marketing campaigns across digital, print and in‑store environments.· Support the artwork approval process by checking content against brand guidelines, proofreading text, and coordinating revisions with designers.· Assist with the creation, scheduling and publishing of social media & website content across all Mackle Petfoods brands.· Monitor social media channels daily, respond to community interactions, flag opportunities or issues, and support overall engagement and growth.· Boosting social posts for our Mackle social media channels and looking at analytics to share with the wider HR team.· Prepare presentation slides, promotional graphics and store‑specific materials while ensuring brand consistency.· Help coordinate influencer, brand ambassador and gifting activity, including managing product send‑outs, tracking performance and communicating with partners.· Support with new product development (NPD) market research.· Assist with internal communications and cross‑department support (e.g., providing assets for Sales, HR, Finance, or Customer Service when required).· Help maintain the marketing calendar, to showcase our events, new launches and wider marketing plans to ensure deadlines and deliverables are accurately recorded and communicated.· Carry out administrative tasks such as meeting preparation, note‑taking, filing assets, updating databases, and maintaining team folders.· Helping with the coordination of photography/videography shoots for all Mackle Petfood brands.· Support the Marketing team with day‑to‑day tasks, problem‑solving, project coordination and team organisation as required.· Other duties, within reason, as and when required.· The role requires a flexible approach, including travel between sites, occasional van driving, attendance at events, and supporting wider departmental needs.· We are committed to becoming a lean organisation. PERSON SPECIFICATION Essential Criteria · Degree (or equivalent experience) in Marketing, Business, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.· Experience in a marketing role OR demonstrable experience through internships/placements/projects.· Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.· Creative mindset with ability to generate content ideas.· Strong written and verbal communication skills.· Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.· Proficient in Microsoft Office.· Ability to work flexibly to meet business needs.· Full clean driving licence and ability to drive a company van· Willingness to travel between sites· Willingness to attend events and trade shows as required· Flexible, can support additional operational tasks when needed Desirable Criteria · FMCG experience or understanding of product‑based marketing.· Graphic design experience (Canva desirable)· Photography/videography/content creation experience· Presentation or training skills.· Ability to harmonise creative content across multiple channels. Job Title: SFLW Digital Skills Tutor Location: Ulster Supported Employment Ltd (Usel), 39c Abbey Street, Armagh, BT61 7DY Responsible To: SfLW Operations Manager Objective: To ensure all learners reach their potential and achieve their learning targets and qualifications. Ensure professional planning and preparation of schemes of work and lesson plans to maximise learning and retention and qualification attainment. Hours: 35 hours per week (Part time hours may be considered) Contract: Permanent Salary: £27,532 to £30,909 per annum (New appointees are normally appointed on the first point of the pay scale)
