Reporting to the Senior Multiskilled Technician (Commercial Vehicles), the post holder is responsible for preparing, maintaining and repairing the Council’s fleet of approximately 200 vehicles, including road sweepers. This multiskilled role encompasses vehicle mechanics, vehicle electrics, and coach building (fabrication and bodywork), ensuring all vehicles remain safe, compliant, cost effective, and operational. Due to expansion and as part of our Apprenticeship Programme we are currently interested in recruiting 1st year Service Apprentices within Motor Mechanics to join our growing team in Audi Ballina. The role: The apprenticeship offered will be for a 4-year period and will involve both on the job and off the job training. On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will receive a nationally and internationally recognised FETAC Level 6 Craft Certificate. Senior Pharmacy Technician
Senior Pharmacy Technician – Full-time, Permanent Responsibilities: · To work collaboratively with other members of the Pharmacy team and Departments in the Hospital to ensure that patient care is central to all activities of the Pharmacy Department. · To be fully aware of and comply with the codes of practice of the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland and the Mental Health Commission. · To have full knowledge of and competently use the Pharmacy Standard Operating Procedures and to contribute to development and updating of Standard Operating Procedures. · To perform the following dispensary duties: I. Dispense in-patient, out-patient, weekend -leave and staff prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist. II. Dispense ward stock lists. III. Co-ordinate dispensary workflow. IV. Co-ordinate medication ordering in a cost-efficient manner. V. Co-ordinate stock management processes including storage, returns, recycling, dispensary lay-out, medication waste and sustainability. VI. Ensure compliance with Falsified Medicines Directive and associated processes. VII. Co-ordinate out-of-hours trolley, first aid kits, emergency trays, patients’ own medicines.
