ANIMATION GRADUATE PLACEMENT SCHEME 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT Northern Ireland Screen is partnering with a range of studios across Northern Ireland’s animation sector to offer graduate placements to applicants who have completed an animation-related FE/HE course this year (e.g. graduated or finished your course by 01/06/2026) The Graduate placements are for 12 months , full-time and paid (Real Living Wage), with the opportunity to work on some of the most exciting animation projects in Northern Ireland. There are 3 placement opportunities available with a number of local animation studios. Applicants can apply for multiple placements if they meet the essential criteria. JAM Media – Trainee 3D Generalist ALT Animation – Trainee Junior Background Artist Flickerpix - Trainee 2D Generalist Interviews will take place between July and August 2026, with placements commencing in September 2026. This is dependent on the studios’ work schedules. Who is eligible to apply? To be eligible for this programme, you must be able to confirm that you: Have completed an animation-related FE/HE course this year (e.g. graduated or finished your course by 01/06/2026) Are currently resident in Northern Ireland Are aged 18 or over Are available to participate in the programme on a fulltime basis from September 2026 to September 2027. Have studied a course relevant to the animation sector, for example: Animation; Computer Animation; Digital Art & Animation; Games, Animation & VFX Skil Please note this is a full-time programme and is not compatible with full time study during this period. If you are unable to meet these requirements, your application will not be progressed. * Please only apply if you meet all the essential criteria.
