We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Psychologist – Staff Grade to join our team in CHO 1 Cavan CDNT . Contract Type: 12 month fixed term contract Contract Hours: 35 hours per week Salary Scale: €59,159 to €103,466 pro rata per annum pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments) This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement : 34 days pro rata per annum Overview of the Post: Enable Ireland delivers children’s services through the Children’s Disability Network Teams (CDNT) under the national Progressing Disabilities Services (PDS) model for children and young people with complex needs arising from a disability. The post holder will be responsible for the provision of a range of Psychologist services for young people (0 – 18 years) and their families within an interdisciplinary framework. Service will include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service development. This will be delivered through a family centred approach across a variety of settings including the clinic, preschools, schools, children’s homes and community settings. We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Therapy Assistant with Hydrotherapy to join our team in CHO 1 Cavan . Contract Type: 12 month fixed term Contract Contract Hours: 39 Hours per week Salary Scale: €32,372 to €37,617pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments) This pay scale is subject to increases in 2026 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations. Annual Leave Entitlement : 30 days pro rata per annum and proportionately less for less than 12 months service. Overview of the Post: · To provide a support service to children and families attending the CDNT while working as a member of the inter disciplinary team. · Toprovide pool attendant duties for which specific training will be provided if required. · To provide Lifeguard duties in the hydrotherapy pool and to assist therapists during hydrotherapy group and individual sessions. · To provide assistance with the provision of therapy services to children attending the CDNT · To plan and lead in the establishment and delivery of groups for service users of various ages. · To facilitate service users social and educational activities within the group, providing a social / therapeutic approach. · To provide support to children and families in order to facilitate their participation in their local communities and in all aspects of team interventions. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Please see Job Description for full list The successful candidate will have Essential Criteria: · Irish Water Safety Lifeguard qualification / RLSS Lifeguard qualification, or commitment to obtaining this qualification within 6 months of employment. AND · Possess a relevant* health skills QQI Level 5 qualification (formerly FETAC) having achieved the associated Level 5 minor awards in Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Physiotherapy Assistant Practice/ Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice/ Speech and Language Assistant Theory and Speech and Language Assistant Practice at Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). OR · Possess a relevant Healthcare qualification at not less than QQI Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) and give an undertaking to successfully complete an approved programme leading to QQI Level 5 minor awards in Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Physiotherapy Assistant Practice/ Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice/ Speech and Language Assistant Theory and Speech and Language Assistant Practice within 1 year of taking up duty. OR · Be currently employed as a Physiotherapy Assistant, Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant, Attendant, Multi-Task Attendant or in a comparable role for at least 1 year and give an undertaking to acquire an appropriate healthcare qualification at not less than QQI Level 5 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major award, having achieved the associated Level 5 minor awards in Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Physiotherapy Assistant Practice /Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice/ Speech and Language Assistant Theory and Speech and Language Assistant Practice within 1 year of taking up post. OR · Have completed the relevant QQI Level 5 minor awards in Physiotherapy Assistant Theory and Physiotherapy Assistant Practice/ Occupational Therapy Assistant Theory and Occupational Therapy Assistant Practice/ Speech and Language Assistant Theory and Speech and Language Assistant Practice and give a commitment to successfully complete a QQI level 5 major award within 1 year of taking up post.
