Trainee Health & Safety Officer

We are recruiting for a  Trainee Health & Safety Officer  to join our team in ABP Clones. The successful candidate will be based in ABP Clones, Teehill, Clones, Co Monaghan, on a full-time contract. Job description The Trainee Health & Safety Officer will be involved in supporting the H&S department in maintaining high standards of safety and regulatory compliance. Training will be provided Key Responsibilities Requirements · At least 1 years’ experience working in a meat processing factory is required · Understanding of safety practices within meat production industry · Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team · Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal · Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment · Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn, with a positive “can-do” attitude · Computer literate – including use of Microsoft Office Word and Excel is required · Have the ability to deal with sensitive information in a confidential manner with unquestionable integrity. The Health & Safety Trainee will report directly to the Health & Safety Manager
