About the Role Due to continued expansion, TLI Group is seeking applications for Trainee Utility Arborists in the Killarney area. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals to start a career in tree surgery and utility vegetation management. Key Responsibilities Duties include: • Assisting with tree maintenance and vegetation clearance. • Supporting experienced Utility Arborists in delivering safe and high-quality work. • Learning to use and maintain tools, plant, and machinery safely. • Following instructions and working as part of an on-site team. • Developing an understanding of health & safety requirements, company policies, and ESB site rules. • Participating in structured training programmes to achieve industry-recognised qualifications. Responsibilities: • Adhering to Company policies and procedures concerning all aspects of Health & Safety. • Adhering to ESB and Company site rules and regulations, particularly concerning Health & Safety. • Demonstrating good interpersonal and teamwork skills. • Taking ownership of your training and personal development. Qualifications & Skills Requirements: • Valid Safe Pass (or willingness to obtain before starting). • Full Driving Licence. • Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions. • Commitment to health & safety. Desirable (training will be provided if not already held): • UA1 Irl. • NPTC Level CS30, CS31. • NPTC Level 2 Tree Climbing and Rescue. • NPTC Level 3 Aerial tree cutting with a chainsaw. • B&E Licence / Tractor experience.
