Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative Reports To: Operations Manager Location: Duncrue Crescent, Belfast Hours: 40 Hours per week (Monday to Friday 7-4) Salary: OTE £29,092 - Hourly rate £13.41, plus monthly bonus potential £100 The Role Would you like to be part of a successful and rewarding business? Dreams and Sofatime are in a substantial period of growth and are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team where you would provide essential support at our warehouse to enable successful deliveries to help us delight our customers. The successful candidate will be a key part of our distribution team and will work in line with our Company values at all times. Main Accountabilities Assist with vehicle loading and offloading – ensure all products are wrapped and labelled before loading, assist with vehicle loading ensuring correct products are loaded and secured, and unload vehicles efficiently while safely taking care of products. Support the Warehouse Management team and assist the Distribution team on vehicle standards, rubbish and product security. Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. Assist with all aspects of stock, ensuring accurate stock movement. Responsible for maintaining consistently high standards throughout Duncrue complex including standards in warehouses, maintaining plants, locks, reporting issues, de-icing etc. Maintain standards of health and safety and security in the work environment. Report any faults, near misses and hazards. Ensure orders are wrapped, packed and tied in appropriately ensuring that products are delivered/collected in good condition. Manage van helper, including and how they conduct themselves during deliveries and during interactions with customers e.g. pre-calls etc. Maintain vehicle by performing daily checks reporting any issues, ensuring it is clean and presentable at all times. Assess planned driver delivery routes, make informed decisions and take action as necessary e.g. due to adverse weather. Drive courteously, within legal limits and do not use phone while driving. Take responsibility for success of the delivery including careful consideration of the placement of product throughout customers homes. Report any accidents or incidents which may occur. The Cedar Foundation is seeking to recruit the following staff member: Short Breaks Project Worker – 25-376-PW-SB-WEB Job Role Short Breaks Project Worker Location Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Salary £27,694 per Annum Hours 37 hours per week (30 hours direct contact with families and 7 hours administration flexible (agile) working is available for the completion of administration) Please note: Due to the nature of our work with young people, the majority of the Service is delivered late afternoons, evenings and weekends (not Sunday) The Service Short Breaks is a fun and exciting service providing individual support to children and young people with, disabilities, autism and brain injury some of whom may display behaviours that challenge. The service proves one to one social and emotional support to children and young people. To enable them to develop friendships and access social and recreational opportunities within their local community, whilst providing parents and carers with a regular short break. The Role The Project worker will work to enable young people to access a range of fun activities within their own home or their local area on a one to one basis. It may be attending a local youth club, educational play such as arts and crafts or supporting the young people in sporting or other social/leisure activities. Hold a full current driving licence valid for use in the UK and have access to a vehicle.
