The Careers & Learning Resources Graduate Intern will work under the direction and guidance of the Careers and Learning Resources Manager to assist in the provision of an up-to-date information service to support students with their studies and will have a key role in assisting in providing IT support to students and staff. The Careers & Learning Resources Intern will work as part of a team to assist in providing an efficient and effective first-line support service for all users to ensure that they access appropriate career resources. This job description is intended to provide a guide to the general duties and responsibilities of the specified post and to set it in the context of the framework within which the post holder will operate. This post is a temporary position up to two years within the College. Closing date for applications is Wednesday 16th July 2025 at 12noon. Animal Management Technician
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced individual to join our animal management team here at Northern Regional College. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of the college’s animal management courses at both NRC Magherafelt and Coleraine campuses. The role involves preparing practical sessions, supporting delivery of animal handling and theory sessions, maintaining animal welfare standards and caring for a range of small animals (e.g. rabbits, guinea pigs, small rodents, fish etc.). BAM is recruiting for an Electrician to join our Plant team in Kill, Co. Kildare. Your mission Carry out electrical installation work from bracketry, containment, wiring to second fixing and snagging. Responsible for completing own works, while also collaborating with a wider electrical team. Ensure all works are carried out to the highest standard, while adhering to health and safety requirements. Who are we looking for? • FETAC Level 6 Electrical Craft Certificate or equivalent. • Experience in Domestic / Commercial / Industrial projects is desirable. • Safe Pass and Manual Handling. • Qualified QC Tester would be an advantage. • Working at heights and abrasive wheel training would be an advantage. • Knowledge of current electrical standards. • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. • Successful experience as an Electrician working with multiple projects and with a minimum of 1 years in this or a similar type role. • Be able to work as a part of a team in a fast-paced work environment and willing to help and assist those around you. • Self-motivated with high quality standards. • A good knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety standards. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
