The ASI is currently recruiting a Care Worker who will work in our Tipperary Day Care at Home Service . The successful candidate will work in assigned family homes in Nenagh and the surrounding areas . This is a permanent contract working 20 hours per week . The successful candidate will be responsible for providing person-centred care to people with dementia in the client's own home. You will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative. To be successful in this position, it is essential that you possess previous experience of undertaking social and cognitive stimulation activities with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. Candidates in this area must have a full clean driving licence and access to a car to be considered for this role. A FETAC Level 5 qualification is desirable. Confidence in using IT and email is also desirable. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with the care sector and dependent on relevant experience. Homecare Coordinator

The ASI is currently recruiting a Home Care Coordinator based at The Lodge, Castle Gardens, Drumgoold, Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, Y21 EW2A , reporting to the Operations Manager . This is a permanent contract working 35 hours per week (Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm). The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the home care service across Wexford, along with assessing the needs of clients and carers, assigning staff to clients based on their needs and reviewing these assignments regularly. To be successful in this role, you will need experience of working with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. A third-level qualification is desirable but not essential. You will need good communication, organisational and administration skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Experience in Human Resource Management, Budget Management, Quality Standards and Risk Management is an advantage. A full driving licence is essential. Salary will be commensurate with the care sector and dependent on relevant experience. Purpose of Position The Home Care Co-ordinator manages and co-ordinates person-centred care and resources in the home in an efficient and effective manner for people living with dementia. He/she has responsibility for the supervision of home care staff in their area. He/she will work closely with other members of staff to ensure that they are cognisant of other services which the client/family may be receiving so that they can help ensure that all services are delivered in an integrated, seamless manner. Reporting into the Group Document Control Lead the Technical Document Controller will be responsible for the administration control and maintenance of all data of a technical nature on the company’s electronic document management system. The Technical Document Controller will be responsible for ensuring that data is added to the electronic document management system in a controlled manner. The successful candidate will be based at Head Office in Killarney, Co. Kerry. Full training of the successful candidate will be provided. Duties and Responsibilities • Maintain documents and records in the relevant Electronic Management System (ERP-IFS) for example engineering drawings, work instructions, certificates, test reports etc • Manage the flow of documents from initiation of workflow to approval. • Ensure compliance to Global and Local Documentation and Records Management requirements. • Identify, review, revise, control & archive documents in a manner which will achieve accuracy and avoid errors in accordance with Document Type and Document Class. • Ensure that each document has the necessary information to be easily found and understood by the relevant people, departments or sites. • Control the release & approval of part numbers, part descriptions, bill of materials & user access in the relevant Electronic Management System (ERP-IFS). • Participate in projects & continuous improvements initiatives with other departments and/or other sites (e.g., Quality H&S, Engineering, Purchasing, Marketing, IT) • Provide training on certain document control areas where required. • Conduct internal audits and provide opportunities for improvement associated with Document Control & the Electronic Management System. • Assist administration and generation of regular reporting e.g. KPI reports for management review, audit reports etc. • Additional responsibilities may arise as deemed necessary by your line manager. Skills/ Qualifications • Third level qualification desirable but not essential. • Experience in a document control or technical/science related position in a manufacturing environment with knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g. IFS, SAP etc). • Understanding of MS office essential. • Excellent attention to detail & accuracy skills • Ability to maintain accurate records and work in a methodical fashion. • Organised, energetic and self-motivated. • Strong communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills. • High level of analytical methodology and time management skills required. • Effective problem-solving skills.
