First Year Apprentice Vacancy An Overview of the Level 8 Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeship An apprenticeship is a full-time programme that combines work-based learning with a formal training programme. Throughout your apprenticeship, you will work as a full- time member of staff with your employer, who will release you to attend the structured training programme with the training provider the earn as you learn approach. The learning component will be delivered through Atlantic Technological University, Co. Sligo Initially who function as the co-ordinating provider along with SCSI for Quantity Surveyor Apprenticeships in Ireland. The academic modules will be delivered online one day per week, with remaining four days on the job. Those who successfully achieve all programme elements will attain a bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying at Level 8 on the National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ). Attendance at all scheduled training and achieving the various certifications involved, is a mandatory requirement for you to successfully complete the programme. The start date for apprentices recruited to join the programme will be early September 2026. Please note that requests for deferrals cannot be accommodated. Ltd will assign you a supervisor and mentor to support, guide and mentor the apprentice(s). Your mentor will arrange task/team rotations to ensure the apprentice has access to the range/type of work required to meet the training plan learning outcomes. Periodic face-to-face observation of the experience and achievements of the apprentice will be required, and outcomes recorded and discussed with the Supervisor/Assessor who will record the data within the apprentice training/learning plan.
Hairdressing Apprentice

They perform an extensive range of skills and services, from styling, colouring and cutting hair to performing scalp treatments. Typical duties include: shampooing and conditioning hair, cutting, and styling, giving and recommending hair treatments, permanent waving. Stylists will be competent at identifying hair and scalp conditions through hair and scalp analysis, and can recommend appropriate treatments or services. Hairdressers will be creative and be able to work with a variety of hair lengths, types, textures and ethnicities. They will be knowledgeable and have due regard to health and safety practices and legislation. They will have good communication skills and establish and maintain good customer relations. They will also be able to use the modern, computerised tools and equipment found in the modern salon and have the basic computer skills required for client record keeping and stock control.
