Family Support Worker
Family Support Worker (Ref: E/FSW/D/0725) Job details: • Hours: 25 hours per week • Salary: £17,654 per annum • Contract: Permanent Job Background: Bryson Pathways Children’s Service provides targeted support to families with children and young people aged 0–17 who are facing significant challenges (Tier 3 under the NI Family Support Model). We are looking for a Family Support Worker to work directly with families in their homes to provide them with emotional and practical support so they can confidently manage everyday life. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • Provide guidance and encouragement to parents, promoting the development of effective parenting skills through modelling and support. • Assist families in establishing consistent daily routines (e.g., mealtimes, bedtimes, homework) and in managing children’s behaviour constructively. • To work with children and families to address multiple and complex needs, improving family resilience and strengthening their connections • Deliver interventions aimed at achieving measurable, positive outcomes for families, and regularly evaluate progress. • Manage a small caseload of families, providing home visiting support for up to 12 weeks, tailored to individual needs. • Participate actively in case reviews, planning meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions to ensure coordinated and effective support. Job summary The successful candidates will be based within the Operational areas of our Newry Facilities and will assist in the packaging of a wide variety of pharmaceutical products whilst ensuring that all operations are performed in line with GMP standards and Health and Safety guidelines. They also work with our Quality teams to ensure that we produce high quality products at all times. YOUTH FLOATING SUPPORT WORKERS Could you assist young people to build the skills and confidence to find, set up and maintain their own homes in the community? MACS Youth Floating Support Service supports young people aged 16-25 in the community who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or need help maintaining their tenancy. Youth Floating Support Workers support on average 15 young people who receive individualised support based on support planning ongoing assessment/review and keeping safe were appropriate. HGV Lorry Driver Job Ref No: FVS/D/07/25 The Role: The HGV Driver will be responsible for providing a high-quality delivery service to Fane Valley Customers and the Store network. The role involves delivering bulk animal feed and agricultural goods ensuring all orders are delivered in good condition, accurately and on time, so that customers receive excellent customer service. The Person: Must have a minimum of one year’s lorry driving experience; Have a valid HGV Class C + E driving licence; Have a Forklift licence or willing to be trained; Be fully CPC compliant; Previous customer care experience; It would be an advantage to be ADR trained and have previous experience of delivering to farms. Normal working pattern is Monday to Friday with flexibility to work Saturday on a rota basis. Starting times vary depending on the route deliveries and will involve early morning starts.
