**Please read the recruitment pack before completing your application** Job Summary The Full Fibre Northern Ireland Consortium (FFNI) is a Consortium and a Programme hosted by Newry, Mourne and Down District Council and is comprised of the eleven councils across Northern Ireland. FFNI was designed as a vehicle to manage and deliver large digital or digital infrastructure funded projects across the programme. The post holder will act as part of the FFNI Operations team, primarily to assist with the delivery and coordination of a large capital funded programme called the Digital Transformation Flexible Fund (DTFF). The DTFF seeks to address the financial barrier that SMEs and microbusinesses face when seeking to digitally transform, by establishing a capital grant fund to support investment in capital equipment for emerging technologies critical to their strategic digital transformation ambitions. The post holder will be required to support the FFNI programme management and governance activity, but also on occasion to support the team and governance boards with procurement and stakeholder management activity. The post holder will report to the FFNI Operations Lead with regards to the management of all activity relating to the FFNI programme and for line management. Hours of Work 36 hours per week. The post holder must be prepared to work outside normal office hours, including evenings, weekends, and Public and extra Statutory Holidays for which the appropriate payment will be made or time in lieu granted if relevant. Duration of appointment Fixed term until 31 December 2026. Work Pattern Flexi 36 hours Monday to Friday. Hours of work are kept under review and may change in order to meet operational requirements, providing requisite notice. Location Downpatrick or Warrenpoint Town Hall. Whilst the current vacant post is based in Downpatrick or Warrenpoint Town Hall, suitable candidates who are placed on a reserve list may be offered a similar post in other Council locations. The post holder may be required to transfer to other locations in accordance with any requirements stated in the Job Description, any reviews of service delivery or other requirements as may arise from time to time. Any amendments made to work location will be implemented following appropriate consultation and provision of reasonable notice. ​​​​​​​Salary SO1, SCP 25-27, currently £35,235 - £37,035 per annum based on a 36 hour week (pro rata to hours worked).
