We are looking for a Warehouse Orders Selector to join our team. This is the evening shift role with a starting rate of €16+ per hour, plus a shift allowance and opportunities for overtime. Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided. Key Accountabilities: · Hand Selection of orders within multi-temperature environments (Ambient, Cooler and Freezer chambers) · Meet or exceed minimum efficiency and accuracy levels · Follow Health & Safety, Food Safety, Hygiene and Operational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies · Follow Manual Handling, Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and any other, role relevant, training (full training will be provided) · Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to mechanical handling equipment, arm mounted terminal · Perform any other general warehousing duties as assigned Requirements: · Previous Warehouse experience desirable, full 2–4-week induction and training programme provided · Availability for 5 over 7 days working week (weekends included), ability to work different shift patterns and overtime when required · A team player with the ability to work to deadlines in the fast-paced environment · Must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business, as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations · High level of productivity and accuracy with a safety conscious mindset · No public transport available to/from depot – own transport advisable The duties and responsibilities outlined in this job description are neither definitive nor restrictive and may change in detail from time to time to meet the changing needs of the business Sysco is an Equal Opportunity Employer. IKEA Dublin (Ballymun) are looking to welcome an experienced Reach Driver as a Warehouse Assistant to join our hard-working fulfilment team. WHAT WE OFFER • Start Date of employment will be: May 2025 • Competitive hourly rate of €15.25, with an additional €2 per hour for forklift allowance after relevant training is completed, night shift allowance €2.50 per hour between 4am and 6 am and a Sunday premium of time & a half. • Contract size of 30 hours per week working 5 days over 7 with 1 in 4 weekends off – working hours are 4am-10am • We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE • Counterbalance and reach driver experience. • Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential, all you will need is the motivation to make things happen in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to priorities and organise your workload swiftly and with attention to detail. • Proven experience in utilising technical equipment to enhance productivity and efficiency. • Be self-reliant and motivated, ready to work independently and as part of our team. • Due to health and safety regulations all applicants must be over the age of 18. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY • Effectively perform the role in the assigned area of responsibility, which includes, manual handling of heavy stock, receiving goods with accuracy and keeping accurate records of stock levels. • Working with or around heavy machinery, such as, Forklift trucks, counterbalance, pump trucks, to safely and efficiently transport heavy goods within the warehouse. • Ensure all safety protocols and regulations are followed for a secure environment for both our customers and co-workers.
