Purpose and Function of Post Inspect, service, and repair all assets within Council’s fleet register which includes a diverse range of specialist vehicles plant and equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications. The Council may retain a list of reserve candidates arising from this recruitment campaign, for any vacancies which may arise which are the same or similar and are of an equal grade of pay. This list will be valid for 12months. “Another similar vacancy” is defined as a post with a similar job description and person specification and on the same salary scale, which may be in a different department or duration to the vacancy initially advertised. Another similar vacancy does not include posts where the similarity relates solely to the salary scale.
Recycling Attendant
The post holder will be primarily based at one of the Councils 9 Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) but may be required to work at any of the other HRCs on occasion to meet the needs of the service. The post holder will be responsible to the HRC Supervisor for the day-to-day operation of the Councils HRCs. To undertake all duties associated with the operation of the Household Recycling Centre/Amenity Site to ensure that all domestic and commercial waste is disposed of in accordance with the Council’s policy for recycling whilst providing the highest level of customer care at all times. The Household Recycling Centres are licensed Waste Management facilities and must operate in accordance with licensing conditions stipulated by DAERA (NIEA) including being manned at all times whilst open. Recreation Associate
Committing to the one-team ethos, you will be flexible and collaborative, and you will actively support all colleagues and other activities necessary to deliver the leisure service objectives. As a Recreation Associate (Lifeguard), you will implement the Council’s safe systems of operations relating to the Pools Safety Operating Procedures (PSOP). You will maintain the safety of all users in Council’s swimming pools as a key priority, and it is therefore imperative you will be motivated, qualified, vigilant and responsible when dispensing your role and responsibility on poolside. You will be responsible for the delivery of safe working practices and be expected to undertake a wide range of duties across a range of leisure facilities and activities, ensuring service delivery is achieved to specified standards with a quality leisure experience being offered to all our customers. This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous phlebotomy experience • Phlebotomy certificate of competence • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Exemplary customer service skills and experience. • Ability to manage existing clientele and generate new clientele at the same time. • High level of IT literacy. Scheme Supervisor / Caretaker
Key Responsibilities: 1. To work within all relevant Triangle policies and procedures, legislation, best practice and regulation relevant to the role 2. To undertake an agreed schedule of daily and periodic cleaning of designated communal areas to include litter picking across communal areas as required. 3. To ensure all agreed health and safety checks are completed in a timely manner including public liability insurance walk-arounds 4.
