Kerry Job Summary This post is in Network 3 (South Kerry), working as part of an Interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young adults, 0-18yrs and their families. This will include children and young adults with Intellectual, Physical, Sensory disability, children on the Autistic Spectrum and children and young adults at risk of or query developmental delay; where their needs require the support of an Interdisciplinary Disability team. This team is under the national model of service provision “Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People” lead by the HSE. The successful candidate will be employed by the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. The Network 3 South Kerry team is based in Killarney and Aras an Phobail base in Tralee, Co. Kerry. The Senior Social Worker will work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation and North Kerry CDNT. The Social Workers will be responsible for the provision of a high quality service and will carry out Social Work duties as required. She/he will be required to work as a key contact for particular cases as well as be part of IFSPs.
