The Regional Nursing and Midwifery Information Officer (RNMIO) provides visionary leadership and establishes direction for a comprehensive nursing and midwifery digital health program of work in the region across community services, primary care, Mental Health, health & wellbeing and voluntary sectors. The primary focus will be on nursing and midwifery practice and a partnership approach with key stakeholders in support of interdisciplinary person-centred care. The RNMIO serves as the principle for developing strategic digital health nursing and midwifery plans, creation of policies and procedures and serves as a champion for complex nursing and midwifery projects and systems that support safety and effectiveness for end users, with the primary goal of advancing nursing and midwifery practice. They will be responsible for the clinical safety of systems and processes in the design, implementation and use of technology solutions.
