Position OverviewWe are seeking a Web Development Associate to join our Web Design Agency. This role serves as the first point of contact for clients with website and e-commerce technical queries. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and supporting a growing portfolio of websites, ensuring client satisfaction and technical excellence.This is a full-time position with a hybrid working model, offering the flexibility of working from home alongside occasional on-site work.Key Responsibilities <ul><li>Provide first-line technical support for websites and e-commerce platforms.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve client issues related to websites, hosting, and email.</li><li>Assist with website development, updates, and maintenance, primarily using WordPress and related technologies.</li><li>Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery.</li><li>Communicate effectively with clients to diagnose and address technical problems.</li><li>Maintain a strong customer focus and deliver high-quality service.</li></ul>Essential Skills &amp; Requirements<ul><li>Excellent communication skills.</li><li>Experience in or knowledge of web development, particularly WordPress, or recent graduation from a web development program.</li><li>Familiarity with PHP, MySQL (LAMP stack), CSS, WooCommerce, third-party plugins, and hosting.</li><li>Basic understanding of internet fundamentals (e.g., DNS, IP addresses).</li><li>Basic knowledge of email troubleshooting; training will be provided.</li><li>Strong problem-solving and web troubleshooting abilities.</li><li>A proactive “can-do” attitude with a strong desire to learn and progress.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects at various stages of development.</li><li>Self-motivation and the ability to work independently while collaborating with the team.</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:<ul><li>Company pension</li><li>On-site parking</li><li>Work from home</li></ul>Schedule:<ul><li>Holidays</li><li>Monday to Friday</li></ul>Work Location: Hybrid remote in Sunnyside, Drogheda, Co.
