Provide interventions to children and their familes based on evidence based practice in relation to promoting positive behaviour and emphasing every child is an active participant in their home and local community. 2. Provide parent trainings and group work with other members of the CDNT on a regular basis in areas including but not restricted to Positive Parenting, Understanding Autism, Interacting and Playing with your child. 3. Access, plan, implement and evaluate positive behaviour support plans where required. 4. Ensure all interventions promote the rights of the child and are based on the holistic assessment of the child and their famileis needs. 5. Demonstrate a high level of specialist clinical knowledge and skills in the area of positive behaviour support to effectively carry out their duties as CNMII Behavioural Specialist. 6. Work as part of the interdisciplinary team members making and accepting referrals for children as necessary. 7. Liaise with Child and Adolescent Mental Health Teams and Child and Adolescent Mental Health of Intellectual Disability Teams. 8.
