The post holder will: Reporting relationship The post holder will initially report to the General Manager for Primary Care. Key working relationships The post holder will provide the professional leadership, clinical leadership, management and support to facilitate the speech and language therapy team to provide a quality Speech and Language Therapy Service to meet the needs of the population The Speech and Language Therapist, Manager-in-Charge III will work collaboratively with the following: · Head of Primary Care and the wider primary care team members · General managers, community healthcare network managers, team co-ordinators for Integrated Care Programme, specialist teams and network GP leads · Public Health and Community Nursing · Other Heads of Service and other therapy managers / discipline managers · Health and social care professional colleagues both acute and community e.g. speech and language therapy staff, operational managers · Key personnel in other divisions, agencies and relevant organisations. Occupational Therapist, Senior
The person appointed to posts will work as part of multidisciplinary teams delivering a coordinated approach to client care either in Adult and Children Services Primary Care or Older Persons Services. The Occupational Therapy Services within Community Healthcare Services in Sligo / Leitrim / West Cavan / South Donegal provide, high quality, holistic and client centred care at the right time and in the right place to those in our community, according to principles of Sláintecare. The Occupational Therapy team have varying and innovative clinical roles at Occupational Therapy Assistant, Staff grade, Senior, Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist and Management grades. All staff have access to and engage in formal clinical supervision with a designated supervisor and can also access peer supervision on a regular basis. Community Healthcare Services are the broad range of services that include Primary Care, Disability Services, Older Person Services, Mental Health and Health & Wellbeing Services.
