In addition to Radiography duties, the Clinical Specialist will liaise with Clinical Director; Directorate Manager; Consultant Cardiologists; CVRRE Directorate Team; Cardiology Specialist Leads; Consultant Radiologist in charge, Radiology CNM3 Nurse Lead, Referring Clinical teams, Administration Manager, Chief Physicist and the Radiography Services Manager to assist in planning and developing a quality professional service to the patient cohort. The CT department currently consists of multiple CT rooms. This post requires that the Clinical Specialist in CT co-ordinates the usage of these units and is responsible for correct and safe usage of the area/systems by non-Radiography staff. In addition he/she will ensure that all systems are serviced and maintained to guarantee optimum image quality at all times. Experience in Cardiac CT is an essential for this role.
