We are now seeking applications for: MAMF Fitter Apprentice - Based in Mullingar **The Smart Doors of the Future** If selected as our MAMF Apprentice, we will provide you with an exciting career where over the 4 years of your training with us. You will gain exposure to our large international clients, some of them global household names involved in massive data centre, clean room and loading bay projects across Ireland. Like so many aspects of our lives, doors are becoming more automated with smart connectivity to the inner workings of our buildings. This Apprenticeship is your opportunity to get involved and learn the Industrial doors sector from the ground up. While you will mostly be involved in Mechanical Fitting, it will bring you into contact with electrical work, electronics and even some programming. If you are able to demonstrate a practical understanding of metalwork and ideally be able to show how you have already been trying your hand at cutting, welding and fabricating, even on a small scale – then we would love to hear from you. As a heavy vehicle mechanic, you will carry out routine servicing and repair on commercial vehicles such as trucks, vans, trailers, jeeps, buses and coaches. Your work will involve servicing, diagnostics and repairs. As well as routine servicing, major overhauls are undertaken at regular intervals. Faults are diagnosed and you will repair or replace the defective components as necessary. You will manage the mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic aspects of the vehicle.
