Employment Coach Antrim and Ballymena Fixed Term until September 2027 35 hours per week (Monday-Friday) £28,773.12 per annum Job Role The Community Employment Coach will engage individuals from communities experiencing high levels of deprivation, supporting them on their journey towards employment. The role involves guiding individuals from initial engagement through skills development, training, and ultimately securing sustainable employment. This includes facilitating employment focused training academies, helping participants gain qualifications, and building relationships with employers to create job and work experience opportunities. Key Responsibilities Actively engage individuals in Root Cause communities who are unemployed or underemployed, supporting them to develop a personalised employment pathway. Provide 1-1 and group-based support, including CV building, interview preparation, job searching, and career guidance. Identify and address barriers to employment, referring participants to additional services where needed (e.g., childcare, mental health support, financial advice). Monitor participant progress, adjusting support plans to ensure long-term employability and stability. Provide direct support to 75 individuals across Root Cause communities. Support the delivery of employment training academy programmes designed to equip individuals with skills, accredited qualifications, and workplace readiness. Work in collaboration with training providers to ensure participants receive relevant and high-quality training. Facilitate workshops and employability sessions focused on practical workplace skills and confidence-building. Essential Criteria: English Language and Mathematics at grade C or above Minimum of 1 years experience in an employment support role to include: Proven ability to build relationships with employers, training providers, and community organisations. Experience in facilitating employability workshops, one-to-one support, or group training sessions. Experience managing a caseload, supporting individuals at different stages of their employment journey. Experience working within a multi-agency framework to support individuals holistically. Strong understanding of barriers to employment and strategies to overcome them through targeted support. Knowledge of training, qualification pathways, and employability skills development. Knowledge of IT systems, including Microsoft Office and case management software. The candidate must hold a full and current driving licence valid in the UK with access to a car and business insurance on appointment. Corporate Event Co-ordinator
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Event Coordination & Delivery • Coordinate the planning and delivery of corporate events, conferences, meetings and bespoke experiences from initial enquiry through to post-event review. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event planning process, ensuring clear communication and exceptional customer service. • Prepare event documentation including event briefs, schedules, function sheets and operational requirements. • Coordinate suppliers, contractors and internal departments to ensure seamless event delivery. • Conduct client site visits and assist in developing tailored event solutions to meet customer requirements. • Ensure all events are delivered in line with W5 quality standards, operational procedures and BEET principles. • Support the delivery of seasonal, commercial and other W5 events as required. Client Relationship Management • Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing corporate clients, sponsors, partners and stakeholders. • Manage post-event feedback and follow-up activities to encourage repeat business and continuous improvement. • Maintain accurate client records and event information within CRM and reporting systems. • Work collaboratively with commercial, sponsorship and partnership teams to maximise opportunities arising from existing relationships.
