A permanent vacancy currently exists within Mid and East Antrim Borough Council for the following post and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates:- Senior Finance Manager 37 hours per week Scale PO6, SCP 42-45, £50,512 - £53,630 per annum MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB The post holder will have operational responsibility for the following areas of the Finance Department: Leading and developing a team of managers to plan and implement a high quality service to meet the needs of the organisation, its customers, its internal policies and relevant legislation and regulations. Effectively manage the performance of staff by setting objectives which will achieve the necessary results and support the continuous improvement of the service. Provide Support to the Assistant Director of Finance. The Chief Executive of The Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB) wishes to appoint a suitably qualified member as Chairperson to the SEUPB Audit and Risk Assurance Committee. The Committee’s work is one of the means by which SEUPB can demonstrate to the public that its affairs are being conducted in an environment of openness, honesty and integrity. Primary responsibility for governance rests with the Chief Executive, who will look to the Audit and Risk Assurance Committee for much of her assurance in this regard. The Audit and Risk Assurance Committee membership comprises the Chairperson and independent members.
