We are the concentrate team in PepsiCo (PGCS) working across the Beverage, Nutrition and Snacks categories to deliver concentrate for many of PepsiCo’s mega brands including Gatorade, 7Up and Pepsi. We are at the heart of PepsiCo products, sourcing ingredients to manufacture more than 1,200 recipes for our brands. Role Purpose & Primary Accountability: Lead Makers Space readiness – part lab start up at our Cork R&D Packaging Lab (enabling a global IDT strategy – Innovation Design Thinking & Technology) for the packaging function IDT Ambassador – execution of Modelling and Simulation, FEA’s, 3D print execution & prototyping, CAD file enhancement execution (regional Point of Contact & lead) Develop a new process to accept Makers Space submissions & requests into the Lab and execution of results for the Cork R&D Packaging lab, with a view to linking this data to current mechanical performance test execution & data (enabling a Faster, Stronger, Better WoW) business strategy. Work closely with any IDA grant related project work, to support any Sustainability/Innovation /Lab work leads – aligned by manager. i.e support to *academic linked projects and other similar projects DELTA / PackLIMS Project (support implementation of a Lims systems) SME & POC supporting Lab SME & Project Owner’s in place Key POC, Link in with IT to enable interface of equipment, enabling digital strategy for Packaging Lab Qualifications/Requirements Desired Criteria: Experience in basic Model and Simulations & software’s Experience using CAD software Experience producing 3 D prototypes Experience in 3D printing (using example: Form LAB’s, NEXA printer, MakerBot or equivalents etc..)
