Senior Grade Social Worker CDNT 8, Central Cork 1 Permanent position Horizons is seeking to recruit a Senior Social Worker to work as part of local Children's Disability Network Teams to provide quality, evidence-based, and family-centred social work services to children and young people with complex needs within an interdisciplinary framework. The role will involve the provision of a range of individual, targeted and universal interventions to children with complex needs and their families. Interventions including Non-violent resistance, Parents Plus Special Needs, Sibshops and autism post-diagnostic interventions are offered by the CDNT. The Senior Social worker will carry a case load of individual cases as well as having allocations to interdisciplinary team interventions with colleagues from other disciplines, including psychology, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. This senior role will involve supporting families with a greater complexity of individual/family need, the supervision of staff grade social workers & students and leading in key areas of service development. The successful candidate will report to the CDNM and be clinically supervised by the Principal Social Worker.
