Physiotherapist, Senior, Community Neuro-rehabilitation Team, CHO
There is currently one 0.5 WTE (17.5 hours) permanent part-time vacancy available in the HSE South West, Community Neuro-Rehabilitation Team (CNRT). The inital base for this post is Mallow, Co. Cork. The CNRT is an inter-disciplinary therapy team providing a specialised service for adults with a range of progressive or acquired neurological conditions. This is a multi-professional team including a Consultant in Rehabilitation Medicine, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology, Social Work, Nursing and Administrative staff. This team will provide assessment and intensive therapy to people in both their own homes and in a clinic based setting for up to a period of 12 weeks. This service will provide people with earlier access to specialist rehabilitation close to home. The team provide a person centred service, improving people’s quality of life and working together to support people with neuro-rehabilitative needs. The Physiotherapist, Senior will be: Responsible for the provision and delivery of a high-quality, evidence-based Physiotherapy Service for persons with acquired and progressive neurological conditions in accordance with standards of professional practice. To work in conjunction with other team members in co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the population it serves in line with the objectives of the organisation. To work with the Physiotherapist, Manager in ensuring the co-ordination, development and delivery of a quality, client centred physiotherapy service across and between networks in the geographical area. The post holders will be working as part of an interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young people, 0-18yrs and their families. The criteria for CNDT is children with complex needs arising from a disability, where those needs require the support of an interdisciplinary disability team. This might include children with intellectual, physical, sensory disability, Autism and children at risk of or query developmental delay. These teams are under the national model of service provision “Progressing Disability Services for Children and Young People” lead by the HSE. The successful candidate will be employed by the Brothers of Charity Services Ireland. Assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions are provided in the context of an interdisciplinary team. The CDNT aims to maximise the child/ young adult’s full potential and works within the context of the family and community, empowering and supporting parents/care givers and family members . The Candidate: Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc Candidates must have professional qualification as per the Department of Health guidelines See job description for full criteria. Have a university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject, AND Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology OR An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. AND Applicants must have at least five years satisfactory post-graduate experience in the area of professional psychology, no more than three years of which was spent in gaining the post-graduate professional qualification and no less than two years full-time spent in post-qualification experience as a professional psychologist. Years in excess of the permitted three years for completion of the post-graduate training or time not worked will not be taken into consideration when assessing the five years’ experience requirement. Driving Licence Must have a full driving license and means of transport which qualifies you to drive on Irish roads. About the role We are seeking a Warehouse Operator to join our Kerry Team in Carrigaline, Co. Cork. This is a full-time, permanent role with working hours from 07:45 to 16:15, Monday to Friday. Where will you work? Our Kerry site in Carrigaline specialises in the production and distribution of enzymes and brewing ingredients for a global market. Located in a quiet, green area, the site is conveniently near a bus station, making it just a 30-minute journey from Cork city. What will you do? Your responsibilities as a Warehouse Operator will include: Prepare and process manufacturing orders, including picking, assembling, and staging materials for production, as well as handling goods inwards, sampling, and SAP transactions. Support inventory management through weekly cycle counts and SAP reconciliation and manage the dispatch and receipt of products and materials, including shrink-wrapping, labelling, and coordination with third-party warehouses. Ensure safe working practices in areas with frequent forklift and pallet movements, proactively supporting safety initiatives and audits. Maintain GMP (General Manufacturing Practices), cleanliness, and accurate documentation across all warehouse and cold storage areas. Provide coverage for other warehouse roles during holiday periods.
