Primary Purpose: To work as a team and support the Pharmacist/Store Manager in ensuring the store is run efficiently on a day-to-day basis. Patient / Customer satisfaction must be at the forefront of your concern, every patient / customer is to be treated as an individual and provided with high quality service in terms of courtesy, kindness, interest and efficiency. Main Duties and Responsibilities o   Receiving prescriptions from customers o   Preparing prescriptions under direction from the Pharmacist o   Using dispensary and stores computer systems to generate stock lists and labels o   Helping to maintain reasonable dispensary stock levels o   Ordering items for use within the Pharmacy under the direction of the Pharmacist Confidentiality All pharmacy staff are bound by rules of confidentiality. You must ensure confidentiality of all MediCare policies and statistics. This equally applies after termination of your employment with the MediCare Pharmacy Group for whatever reason. Education GCSE Maths and English – Grades A-C Experience Applicants should be able to demonstrate numeracy and accuracy skills required for a retail environment Behavioral Competencies Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills. Purpose/Main Objectives of Job: Responsible for the stages of the food processing supply chain from receipt, storage, processing and order picking to provide a high service level to the customer KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Food Processing 1. To complete food processing tasks as allocated by the QA/production supervisor and team leader, paying particular attention to the quality of the raw materials and adhering to best before dates 2. Handle product to ensure the stock arrives with the customer in a good condition, with good presentation, and not damaged 3. Pay particular attention to final presentation, wrapping, and labelling 4. Pack finished product into boxes or onto trays, again ensuring good presentation and no damage on arrival with the customer 5. Stock rotation principles of FIFO (first in, first out) must be adhered to 6. Achieve productivity and quality targets Miscellaneous 1. Participation in weekend working when required 2. Operatives can only use equipment for which they have been trained by the production supervisor or the team leader 3. Only operatives with a current certificate may use any of the mechanical handling equipment in the warehouse 4. Report all faults or damage to company property to the QA/production supervisor and the team leader 5. All operatives must wear the protective clothing supplied by the company at all times in the production area 6. Adhere to the Company Health & Safety Policy 7. Adhere to Food Safety Hygiene requirements and the HACCP system at all times 8. The company operates a ‘clean-as-you-go’ policy in the factory. Details will be supplied by the production supervisor 9. Work within the processes and procedures agreed for the Group of companies 10. Build good relationships with colleagues in own department and other departments 11. Continually develop personal behaviours and skills for mutual benefit 12. Undertake any other reasonable task requested by the Company, including working in different areas of the factory
