Leading registered Apprenticeship employers across all sectors – including practice, industry, and the public sector – will be hiring this January. Interested students are advised to apply now to increase their chances of attaining an employer offer and secure their place on the programme. Applicants who would like to apply for the January 2021 intake can apply online via the Accounting Technicians Ireland website. The Accounting Technician Apprenticeship is a two-year, work-based learning programme leading to a Level 6 QQI Advanced Certificate in Accounting. Accounting Technician Apprentices work four days a week with a registered employer and study one day a week on a two-year employment contract. This January, the Apprenticeship programme will be taught through the ATI Academy and classes will be held online enabling students across Ireland to apply. Successful applicants earn at least €19,860 per annum, are given three weeks paid study leave by their employer, and their college tuition is fully funded by SOLAS.

As one of Ireland’s largest electrical wholesalers, this position will establish your career in a niche market. You will undertake the Sales Apprenticeship over 2 years, covering all aspects of selling and sales. Your training will be a combination of on-the-job training within the company and off-the-job learning via online classes and face to face workshops. You will be released from the workplace to participate in the online classes and face to face workshops. As a Sales Apprentice, you will deliver an outstanding experience to our customers, ensuring their needs are understood and met. Duties include goods in, goods out, trade counter sales, telephone sales, quotations and ordering. You will be assigned a dedicated workplace mentor who will be there to support you throughout the programme offering guidance and making sure that all aspects of your learning follows the structured training plan. This is an “earn and learn” programme and upon successful completion you will qualify as a Sales Specialist and gain a QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in Sales. Holders of this award will be eligible to progress within the organisation into management positions and/or to higher education programmes.
