Dublin Aerospace prides itself on the home grown talent coming out of our in-house apprenticeships. As a Dublin Aerospace Apprentice you will split your time between class room were you learn theory and hands on training in our hangers putting that theory into practice all while being paid. What do MAMFs do? It involves: • Maintenance and repair of aircraft parts. • Fabrication of replacement parts using machine tools i.e. lathes, milling machines, grinders etc. • Replacing broken or worn parts. • Adjusting and servicing of aircraft parts. The work also involves installation of Plant and machinery. What do I get out of this Apprenticeship? After successful completion of this Apprenticeship the apprentice will receive a Level 6 National Craft Certificate from SOLAS. How Long does the apprenticeship take? A minimum of 4 years, the apprenticeship has both practical hands on and classroom base aspects. The Apprenticeship consists of 7 phases: What do I need to apply and how do I apply? You need to have at least a “C” at Ordinary Level or“D” at Higher Level in the  Junior Certificate in 5 subjects (or equivalent) in one sitting.  Or  In the  Leaving Certificate  at least an O6 / D in ordinary level Or The successful completion of an approved Pre-Apprenticeship Course APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS  • Over 18 years of age upon commencement of the apprenticeship. • Permitted to live in Ireland without restriction • Full security and background check • Colour vision and medical assessment.

(Ireland branch) Apprenticeship Programme Description Joining the AIG Apprentice Programme is a great way to enhance your business acumen and gain insight into a large corporation, as well as learn more about the insurance industry. Placement students are placed into substantive roles that have an immediate and integral impact on the business. You’ll specialise in one of the core industry areas – underwriting, claims or direct client advice. The Apprenticeship in Insurance Practice is a programme that runs over three years, which on successful completion, will result in the apprentice receiving a BA honours degree (level 8) in Insurance Practice awarded through IT Sligo, the education provider for the programme. The Apprenticeship programme is based on an 'earn and learn' model and the cost of the course is fully funded by the Government while the employer covers the cost of the salary of the apprentice. This means that the apprentices will work full-time in a role in Dublin with one day a week on average set aside for formal learning, through a distance learning module. This role will be a three year fixed term contract.
