DNCC, Inner City, Multidisciplinary Team Manager

The current vacancy available is part-time and temporary based on the North East Inner City Team in Summerhill Primary Care Centre, Dublin 1. HSE, in CHODNCC (DNC), has received funding for one year for a Multidisciplinary team for 0-5 year olds in Dublin’s North East Inner City, referred to as NEIC 0-5 MDT. The NEIC 0-5 MDT will provide a wrap-around service to the 0-5 age cohort in this area of significant disadvantage, collaborating with existing service providers, including primary care (PC) services, relevant Government departments, the school aged NEIC MDT, Early Learning Initiative (ELI), the Rotunda and CHI Temple St Hospitals, Meitheal, Tusla, Children’s Disability Network teams (CDNT), Young People At Risk (YPAR), homeless services and other organisations in the NEIC working with children & families. The model of service provision will use an Infant Mental Health paradigm and Trauma Informed Practice. The NEIC 0-5 MDT, through prevention and early intervention, will support parent-child atonement. This will maximise positive emotional development which will ameliorate environmental and neurological risk.
