GIS BIM Coordinator
The BIM/GIS Coordinator will be responsible for the review of information prepared by designers and contractors. The successful candidate will assist the BIM Manager & senior GIS analyst focussing on the quality and consistency of the information submitted while ensuring that deliverables are continuously transformed from projects handover into master records. Course Executive
The Law Society of Ireland provides training courses for trainee solicitors as part of their pre-qualification training (the professional practice courses). To assist with the provisions of these courses, the Law Society wishes to recruit a Course Executive. The successful candidate will have a legal background (preferably as a practising solicitor) and an interest in education. Duties include the co-ordination and running of selected course subjects on the Professional Practice courses, the engaging of teaching teams, organisation of course material and examinations, organisation of extracurricular skills, competitions and planning of syllabi. The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to the teaching of course subjects and to correct examination papers. Computer literacy and a range of professional experience are desirable; though the Law School also welcomes specialist skill and experience. Familiarity with accounts management would an advantage. Terms and condition will reflect the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The position is for a maternity cover. This a casual role which means you can control the days you work Employment will be carried out on different retail customer sites and stores and travel will vary on a shift-by-shift basis. Certain locations ( Dublin* and Carlow) will have minibus transport provided free of charge otherwise you must be able to drive to and from job sites. You will be responsible for ensuring stock is counted quickly and accurately using a handheld scanner. Being able to stand for prolonged periods of time is needed for the role and access equipment such as ladders or steps may have to be used on occasion to reach high stock. Transport in Dublin must be discussed at interview stages Key Skills/ Experience Required Due to the nature of our work, you must be able to work unsociable hours including early mornings and throughout the night when required. As a result, we can only accept applicants 18 years and over. You must have a 'can do' attitude and be able to work long shifts when required on large counts. With our innovative business, the technology changes and progresses and therefore being a quick learner is a key skill required. Any experience of handling stock is an advantage but not a necessity. A good understanding of the English language is essential.
