The overall purpose of this role is to provide support to the Quality & Standards team in delivering the Accommodation Certification Scheme and the Quality Grading Scheme. The team works with businesses right across the tourism industry to undertake statutory inspections as specified by the Tourism (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 and Quality Grading assessments under Tourism Northern Ireland’s (Tourism NI’s) Quality Assurance Schemes. Whether a business is taking its first steps in the industry or seeking to mature an established business, the Quality Advisor will often be their main point of contact in Tourism NI. Job summary At Genesis Bakery in Magherafelt, we are currently recruiting for Bakery Staff, pay rate is £12.50 - £14.00 per hour (dependent on experience) +£1 nightshift allowance per hour. You may have the opportunity to increase the rate, as you develop and become more multi-skilled and competent across sections in the factory. Roles available Our Bakery has many sections. You will be part of working as one big team, with each area playing an equally important role in the Genesis production process. Bakery: This section receives raw materials, weighs ingredients, mixes and prepares all sorts of delicious things. It can involve heavy lifting and moving of ingredients and precision of weighting. Baking / Ovens: This is where goods are baked in our ovens. This section bakes and de-pans the goodies fresh from the ovens and cools them. It can be a very warm environment and precise attention to detail is required to ensure temperature and timings are exact. Machine Operator: As a Machine Operator in our bakery, you’ll be responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure the efficient and safe processing of baked goods. This includes setting up equipment, performing routine checks, and maintaining hygiene and quality standards throughout the shift. Ideal candidates will have good attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced food production environment. Health Play Specialist
Purpose of the Role Health Play Specialists (HPS) work as integral members of the paediatric medical team with responsibility for the social and emotional welfare of the child. Health Play Specialists have the remit to promote play throughout the hospital and to encourage and guide nursing staff, volunteers, and parents to participate in play. Health Play Specialists work alongside the medical team to create a positive healthcare environment while minimizing the distress of hospitalisation through play-based techniques including but not limited to developmental play, therapeutic play, medical play, post-procedural play, preparation play, and distraction or redirected play. It is the belief of the CHI Healthcare Play Service that all children who come into the hospital are entitled to access to play as it provides a way for children to learn, understand, and cope with their medical experience. It is the role of the Health Play Specialists to create play opportunities and encourage positive coping for children and their families who attend Children’s Health Ireland. Essential Criteria: · Hold a BA in Early Childhood Studies or Diploma in Childcare, Montessori, or an equivalent professional childcare qualification. · Have a minimum of three years’ experience working with children in a group setting. · Eligibility and commitment to undertake Foundation Degree in Healthcare Play Specialism within first year of employment.
