Objective of the Role The Sales & Marketing Manager will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving revenue budgets of an amazingly refurbished hotels within the Dalata Hotel Group. Overview of post The School of Political Science and Sociology includes the disciplines of Political Science, Sociology, Applied Social Science and Gender and Women's Studies. It is committed to excellence in interdisciplinary teaching across its undergraduate and postgraduates programmes, including the flagship Joint Honours BA in Sociological and Political studies and a suite of denominated/specialist BA and taught Masters programmes. The School strives to generate new knowledge in its key research areas, including through PhD and postdoctoral research, and to bring academic expertise to bear in addressing societal and policy challenges, at local, national and international level. The School’s main research clusters are: Child, Youth and Family; Gender and Women's Studies; Governance and Sustainable Development; and Power, Conflict and Ideologies. The postholder will contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of core curricula and specialist modules in contemporary and classical social theory at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, including in the context of social science research and methodologies. They will participate in the development of the School’s research activities and profile according to their areas of expertise in association with relevant research centres and clusters at School, College and University levels.
