We are a pub in the “middle of nowhere” that comes alive once opened serving food from Thursday to Sunday. An Assistant Store Manager is responsible for supporting the Store Manager in the daily business operations of the store. What you will do: · Provide customer advice with the aim of optimising customer approach and loyalty. Additionally, support new starters with onboarding and sales skills. · Ensure full product availability on the shelves, minimize inventory discrepancies, and maintain high inventory quality. In addition, ensure conscious and efficient use of all environmental and economic resources. Provide support to the Store Manager in establishing correct staff planning in functions and ensure internal communication and information flow. · Provide overall leadership and direction in the absence of the store manager to ensure store is managed in accordance with our business culture of providing excellent customer satisfaction, while creating an atmosphere of mutual trust and respect for our store team. · Engaging, coaching and supporting the store team by recognising and understanding what motivates them.
