He loves going with his Advocate.” - Parent “YAP is the best thing that has ever happened to me.” – Young Person Provide a one-to-one support to Young People and Families for up to 15 hours per week (€16.07 PER HOUR) Build a trusting relationship with young people & parents /carers Work with young people and families to achieve their goals Identify and link young people and families with the appropriate community supports Support young people to identify their interests and support parents/carers with parenting Advocates report to Team Leaders and with their support develop a strengths-based, needs-led Individual Service Plan (ISP) with the young person and family. Key Relationships: · Develop an understanding of ensure a transfer of knowledge on successes across the site · Lead the morning group production meeting and minute and publish the outcome of the meeting daily · Work closely with the various site engineering teams · Work with production to ensure the sites are staffed to the standard manning level · Ensuring that Standard operating procedures are in place for all processes · Ensure the standard of people training of the people is sufficient and that there is the correct documentation in place to ensure consistent training · The role requires travelling to the site to understand the operation of the site first hand · Ensure each site is operating to our quality standards and any issues are raised to the site General Manager and relevant Group Heads. · Responsible for ensuring health and safety on each site is maintained in its operations · Develop action plans with the site to ensure the above tasks are met · Produce a weekly report on the state of every site and the action plan to turn any metrics that are red to green. Personal Competencies and Qualifications: The role requires a degree qualified self starter who can learn and manage a process end to end. The key aspect of this role is to learn both the technical aspects of the process and be able to layer the understanding of people and how they integrate into the process. The understanding of people will include the management of the people who operate the equipment and the supervisors and managers who oversee these people. The role requires weekly travel to various sites and the ability to work with the General Manager of each site and interface across the various sections of the business, particularly engineering and quality. Telemetry Maintenance Technician
Grade and Salary E: €49,252 - €73,877 per year The Role: The Asset Operations functions form the cornerstone of service delivery to customers, protecting the environment and meeting regulatory standards as well as managing the majority of operational expenditure. The Asset Operational Control Function has responsibility for developing, implementing, and managing the activities of key technical teams and infrastructure, which provide expertise and excellence on a national basis in collaboration with, and complementary to, the Regional and Local delivery of routine front-line water and wastewater services. The Integrated Operations team monitor the performance of the operating environment, ensuring risks to service continuity are identified and managed and that the Customer first approach is at the forefront of Asset Operations activities. This will include the performance of the asset base, optimising production and managing network integrity during interventions. The Telemetry Maintenance Technician will report to the Telemetry Maintenance Lead. The Telemetry Maintenance Technician has a national remit and is responsible for supporting the delivery of a customer focused service providing day to day developmental, technical and operational support to the National Operations Management Centre team and the users of the Uisce Éireann Telemetry system. This involves the review of site signal listings, configuration, monitoring end to end testing and resolving problems (nuisance alarming, incorrect configuration etc.), the raising of work orders and stakeholder management where appropriate.
