Applications are invited for the following post Senior Social Worker Ref: 37/2025 Specified Purpose part-time contract for one year (52.5 hours per fortnight) Location: Children Disability Network 13 (Carrigaline / Kinsale / Bandon, Co. JOB SUMMARY The person/s appointed to this post will work as part of inter-disciplinary team delivering a coordinated approach to children/young people from 0-18 years across all disabilities which includes intellectual disabilities, physical disabilities sensory/motor disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. She/he will be required to work as a key worker for particular cases. The reporting relationship is to the Children Disability Network Managers. Clinical governance and Clinical supervision will be provided by the Head of Department. The Social Workers will ultimately be responsible to the Director of Services. The Social Workers will work in conjunction with other team members in a senior role co-ordinating and developing the service to meet the needs of the service user group and the objectives of the organisation and the Kerry Intervention & Disability Services. The Social Workers will be responsible for the provision of a high quality service and will carry out Social Work duties as required. Applications are invited for the following:- Social Care Leaders / Clinical Nurse Manager 1 (CNM1) Ref: 36/2025 Permanent Full-Time (39 / 37.5 hours per week) St. Patrick’s Upton (Innishannon) Co. Cork The Purpose The person/s appointed shall ensure that the vision is delivered through our core values of Person Centred Service. Ensure compliance with organisational policies, procedures, national Legislation including Health Act 2007 and H.I.Q.A. regulations. May take on the duties of Person in Charge for a designated centre. The normal working hours will be 39/37.5 hours per week (depending on qualification) however, flexible hours, including weekends, evenings and nights are involved. The person/s appointed shall, as well as partaking on the roster be responsible for the day-to-day management of the centre reflecting the ethos and vision of the Brothers of Charity, operating within agreed policies and procedures and ensuring that the individual needs of person supported are being met by all workers therein. As a leader of the team, the postholder will ensure that the interests of each person supported are paramount in discussions.
