Dreams and Sofatime are in a substantial period of growth and are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our growing team where you would provide essential support at our warehouse to enable successful deliveries to help us delight our customers. The successful candidate will be a key part of our distribution team and will work in line with our Company values at all times. Main Accountabilities Assist with vehicle loading and offloading – ensure all products are wrapped and labelled before loading, assist with vehicle loading ensuring correct products are loaded and secured, and unload vehicles efficiently while safely taking care of products. Support the Warehouse Management team and assist the Distribution team on vehicle standards, rubbish and product security. Assist with the receipt, storage, and dispatch of products. Assist with all aspects of stock, ensuring accurate stock movement. Responsible for maintaining consistently high standards throughout Duncrue complex including standards in warehouses, maintaining plants, locks, reporting issues, de-icing etc. Maintain standards of health and safety and security in the work environment. Report any faults, near misses and hazards. MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To efficiently carry out a range of administrative tasks to support the operations team to include document control. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. To provide administration support within the operations team to include Site Managers & Contract Managers. 2. To make travel and accommodation bookings as requested. 3. To undertake filing, photocopying, typing, laminating, data entry and creation of new files. 4. To assist with the collation of a wide range of project files. 5. To carry out document control for specific projects when required to include: · Control all project drawings and track revisions. · Distribute drawings/ revisions to relevant team members in a timely manner. · Summarise revisions of drawings. · Update RFI with information provided by all parties and maintain and distribute among team members. 6. Provide Administrative cover as and when required and carry out full duties whilst covering to include Reception. 7. To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, FSC and Investors in People Standards. 8. Any other duties required for the effective operation of the post as deemed by Management. Qualifications · 5 GCSE’s including English Language & Mathematics at Grade A to C or NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration (or equivalent).
