The position of Home Support Resource Manager encompasses both managerial and administrative responsibilities. The HSE Home Support Service (formerly called the Home Help Service or Home Care Package Service) aims to: · Support older people to remain in their own homes for as long as possible · Facilitate timely discharge home from the acute setting · Reduce readmission to the acute setting · Support informal carers · Support carers so that they might be able to continue to provide care for older people.
