Children’s Health Ireland (CHI) is now inviting applications for Registrar in Paediatric Intensive Care Medicine , commencing Monday, 12th January 2026 . The Paediatric Critical Care posts are ideally suited to trainees with backgrounds in Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology or Emergency Medicine. This is ideal for those wishing to consolidate and broaden their experience of management of critically ill children. For anaesthesiology trainees, theatre time may be incorporated to allow a post to fulfil the anaesthesiology paediatric training requirements. Our theatre department manages 14,500 cases per annum and our PICU caters for all specialities including cardiology and cardiac surgery, general surgery, ENT and all tertiary medical specialties. The units accept over 1500 admissions per year and is one of the largest PICUs in Europe. The successful applicants will be working equally as part of a team of Specialist Registrars/Clinical Fellows. The department runs an extensive teaching programme with participation in the active research and audit programmes expected. Every effort is made to cater to the training needs of the individual. Procurement Specialist
Overall Role Objective: The GMP Procurement Specialist is responsible for direct product procurement for Almac Pharma Services. This includes calculating material requirements from master production schedules, re-order reports, min-max inventory levels, and specific requests, and raising subsequent purchase orders with approved suppliers. The specialist must ensure that all orders are placed within an acceptable time frame to guarantee the required delivery of materials. They will follow up on purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery and cover all aspects of order management to meet OTIF (On-Time In-Full) and supplier quality targets. The specialist will communicate widely with operational departments regarding material problems or delays and identify and implement operational improvements for material supply to global sites. Job Specific Responsibilities: Order Management: Ensure that all purchase orders are placed in a timely manner, confirmations are received, delivery dates are agreed upon with approved suppliers, and delivery dates are met. Approval Documentation: Ensure that all purchase orders have the necessary approval documentation, as per SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), before they are placed with the supplier. Master Data Control: Maintain and keep the purchase ordering systems and Master Data up to date at all times. Cross-Departmental Liaison: Collaborate with Commercial Services, Project Management, and Scheduling Teams to ensure materials are ordered and delivered in time to meet scheduled production dates. Supplier Relationship Management: Effectively resolve material and vendor queries resulting from supplier non-conformances, including documentation procurement (e.g., requesting the certificate of approval from a supplier when it was not included with the consignment's documentation). Invoice Matching: Facilitate invoice matching by checking received quantities versus invoice quantity and invoice price against purchase order price. Follow up on all invoice queries to a satisfactory resolution. Administration and Filing: Responsible for the administration and filing of material and supplier specifications, purchase orders, confirmation of orders, and vendor queries. Reporting: Prepare and present reports as required. Operational Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with operational departments to address material problems or delays. This includes: Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and supplier performance Qualifications and Skills: Educational Background: A degree and 3 years’ experience in a Procurement Department, beneficial if GMP Experience: Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite of Apps. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to assess procurement data and make quick informed decisions. Senior Occupational Therapist - St Paul's Child And Family Centre
St Paul's CFCC is affiliated with the Mater Misericordiae University Hospital and shares close proximity and links to St. Paul's Special School. St Paul's Multi-Disciplinary Team provides services to children who attend St Paul's Special School and support the staff that work in St.Paul’s CFCC respite services to ensure the highest of standard of care. The Senior Occupational Therapist will have responsibility for the provision of a specialised service to children with a diagnosis of autism and an intellectual disability (aged between 3 -18 years) who attend St. Paul’s Special National School. This role also involves providing consultation support to St. Paul’s Child and Family Care Centre’s respite services alongside the Multidisciplinary Team in St. Paul’s CFCC (Consultant Psychiatrist, Psychology, SLT, Social Work and Behaviour Analyst).
