Care and Wellbeing Mentor (Ref: E/CWO/B/925) Job details: • Hours: 35 hours per week • Salary: Competitive • Contract: Permanent • Location: Belfast Job Background: Bryson Pathways through its Training & Employability work delivers Employment and Vocational Training programmes to young people and the unemployed. For over 30 years it has successfully managed and delivered a wide range of qualifications, training and employment programmes. Main Duties and Responsibilities: • To develop and demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the requirements of Bryson programmes • To provide and as coordinate individualised support to learners who experience acute, complex or enduring mental health difficulties affecting full participation on programme • Undertake assessment to identify learner needs and develop individual wellbeing plan • To respond to, support and refer learners as appropriate, who are deemed vulnerable or at risk • Actively contribute to the development and enhancement of mental health and wellbeing support provision • Deliver individual and group sessions/workshops to learners to support wellbeing • Decide on appropriate interventions including where an urgent response is required and liaise closely with Learning Support Team Essential Criteria: •Relevant qualification in Managing Challenging Behaviour / NLP practitioner / SEN Certificate (or equivalent) •Educated to GCSE level and hold Grade C or above (or equivalent) English and Maths •A minimum of one-year previous experience working with young people and vulnerable adults in an education or training setting in a similar role. •IT Proficient with use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) or similar applications Application: The closing date for the receipt of completed applications is: Friday 12th September at 12pm

Early Years Assistant (Ref: E/EYA/B/925) Permanent - 16 hours per week Bangor Sure Start £10,807.68 per annum Main Duties and Responsibilities: To implement a child-centred and welcoming environment at all Sure Start programmes and activities. To ensure a safe, stimulating and varied programme of play and learning opportunities are provided for children aged 0 - 3 years, suitable to the child’s age and stage of development. To work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team to support planning to meets children’s individual needs which takes into account children’s abilities, interests, language and cultural backgrounds. To work alongside parents to enable them to develop their children’s maximum potential and to support programmes that promote and actively encourage parents to play alongside their child / children. To work with parents and their child / children within the home environment to offer an extension of services to the family on play, interaction and sensory development. Essential Criteria: Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Child Care qualification or equivalent (completed or working towards) 5 GCSEs including English Language and Maths at Grade C or above Clean drivers’ licence and access to transport.
