Dublin North County (DNC) & Dublin North City & West (DNCW) CAMHS is reconfiguring by mapping on to community networks and includes 8 community CAMHS teams, in 7 locations, specialist teams- day hospital, an eating disorder team, an ADHD team and by 2026, a CAMHS Hub. The Speech and Language Therapy Discipline group is a dynamic group of SLTs that provide services across 8 CAMHS teams and the Day Hospital. The SLT service operates within an established staffing complement, including a CAMHS SLT manager, a Clinical Specialist SLT (Day Hospital), ten senior speech and language therapists, and a staff grade SLT. CAMHS offers varied multi-disciplinary intervention with young people, individually and in groups, presenting with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, eating disorders, complex selective mutism, ADHD, psychosis and self- harm. Young people and their families are supported by a key worker. Within this context, the senior SLT: · Provides assessment of speech, language and communication needs of young people attending CAMHS in line with best practice. Formal assessments are based on needs identified and tailored individual interventions are offered to young people. · Informs multidisciplinary formulation, diagnosis and intervention planning through observations and assessment findings relating to speech, language and communication profiles. · Provides specialist advice and guidance to team members in relation to speech, language and communication needs. · Works alongside team members in assessment, joint reviews, key working, interdisciplinary work, and parent support and intervention. · Works in liaison with the team to provide outside agencies with guidance relevant to the management and support of the young person and their family in educational/ vocational/ community activity. · Supervises staff grade SLTs and senior SLTs in Dublin North City and County CAMHS. · Contributes to service improvement/ quality initiatives in mental health. · The profile of young people attending is marked by high levels of co-occurring diagnoses and complexity. CAMHS teams comprise a multidisciplinary team including Consultant Psychiatrists, Senior Registrars and Registrars in training, Clinical Psychologists, Social Workers, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Team Co-ordinators, Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists and Administrative staff. The Role of a Staff Officer – Accounts Payable Supervisor The Housing Agency is now seeking applications for a Staff Officer – Grade 5 – Accounts Payable Supervisor on a permanent basis. This post will ensure and enhance the effective and efficient functioning of the Accounts Payable team. The successful candidate will also work with the broader finance team in relation to a wide variety of tasks including absence cover, fixed asset management, internal and external audit and various projects to enhance the finance function. This post is based in our offices in Dublin 2. The Housing Agency operates a Blended Working Policy. Main Duties Accounts Payable: • Supervision of an accounts payable team with overall responsibility for outgoing payments, ensuring invoices are verified, coded, and paid accurately and on time. • Management of purchase orders. • Management of supplier payment runs and query resolution. • Reconciliation of creditor statements with the purchase ledger. • Prompt payment reporting. • Oversight of supplier setup and maintenance of Tax Clearance Certification process. • Provision of accounts payable documentation required for internal and external audits. Month End: • Assisting with month end closing and posting of journals to the general ledger system. • Calculation of monthly accruals and preparation of aged creditor reports. • VAT, PSWT and RCT calculations, deductions and reconciliation of control accounts. • Monthly bank reconciliations. • Preparation and posting of monthly payroll journals. There may also be involvement in: Accounts Receivable: • Supervision of an accounts receivable function. • Preparation of sales invoices. • Reconciliation of debtor statements and managing collection. • Processing payments received. Management Reporting: • Assist in the production of the monthly management pack. • Assist in the preparation of annual budget and on-going monitoring against budget throughout the year. • Preparation of variance analysis reports to budget holders and the Senior Management Team. • Resolution of queries with budget holders and internal stakeholders. Statutory Accounts: • Assisting in the preparation of annual financial statements. • All statutory returns to Revenue using ROS. • Preparation of schedules to support payroll balances and reconcile GL ledger accounts. Other ad hoc duties as required may be assigned to the role. Personal / Educational Requirements The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years previous experience in an end-to-end Accounts Payable function with a good working knowledge of MS Office. They must have a strong understanding of controls and good governance practices. Ideally the successful candidate will hold a financial qualification or be a part-qualified accountant or accounting technician. Significant experience and expertise gained in the workplace will be taken into consideration. Previous experience of public sector taxation and using Business Central would be an advantage.
