Regional Director Laois – Offaly - Tipperary Permanent Full Time (Office Base Tullamore / or negotiable across the Regions) We are offering this opportunity to an experienced manager to drive forward the Vision, Mission and Values of the Muiriosa Foundation, ensuring the will and preference of people supported is sought and supported. The successful candidate will have a key role in leading out on the strategic direction as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the services and supports across the Region. The Regional Director will ensure that all resources and supports are optimally aligned with and driven by the vision of the Muiriosa Foundation. The successful candidate will be expected to: · Have a deep understanding and appreciation of what is involved in providing effective values-based leadership and governance to teams of Area Directors, Local Leaders and Front-Line Staff across the Region. · Have a sound knowledge base of relevant national policy frameworks. · Work effectively to build and sustain local values-based teams, underpinned by team working agreements and commitments that maximise service user experience. · Maintain a high level of presence in the various locations within the Region, sufficient to ensure a strong first-hand sense of the quality of life for people supported. · Exhibit a high level of flexibility in respect of working locations and working hours · Will take the lead in consultation and negotiation with industrial relation officials if and when required. · Attend training as required by the organisation, and also to seek to continuously develop professionally through education, training, networking, updates and other sources as are available. Requirements for the role: · Relevant recognised Third Level Qualification in a relevant discipline · Additional ongoing training / updates relevant to the role · At least 5 years’ experience in a senior management role with exposure to similar leadership, direction and teamwork experiences relevant to the role. · Ability to evaluate complex information from a variety of sources to enable you to make and communicate effective decisions. · Experience of managing and working collaboratively with multiple internal and external stakeholders to implement change and Process improvements, as relevant to the role. · Direct contact with HIQA Inspectorate and preparation / oversight of responses to HIQA including compliance planning. We’re currently seeking a Director of Quality Assurance to lead the Quality Assurance department at the Charnwood Campus, Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for the leadership and management of the Quality Assurance (QA) department at the Almac Pharma Services Charnwood site. They will be responsible for the management of a dedicated team of Quality professionals to effectively meet the needs of the business and ensure compliance with Regulatory guidelines and the Almac Pharma Services Global Pharmaceutical Quality System (PQS). The post holder will be the most senior Quality person on the site and as such will act as the primary point of contact, representing the Charnwood Quality unit to the Regulatory Authorities. The post holder will be a key part of the Site Leadership Team and will work closely with the other Directors at site to effectively manage the operations at the Charnwood site. What we are looking for · Degree level qualification in a science related discipline. · Previous experience acting as a QP · Significant experience working in a quality management role and as a QP within the pharmaceutical industry. · Experience in leading multi-functional teams. · Experience in the quality considerations for manufacturing operations for solid oral dosage forms and/or non-sterile liquids across development, clinical and commercial operations. · Experience in managing the interactions with the regulatory authorities.
