We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Phlebotomist within our clinic in the Holland and Barrett store on Market Street in Manchester. Location : 103-105 Market Street, Manchester, M1 1NN. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week, alternating between a Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern. Start and finish times will be either 7.40am to 4.20pm or 8.40am to 5.20pm. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Right to Work Requirement Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This is to ensure completion of our 9-month probationary period and for any potential sponsorship decisions to be considered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship at the point of hire. What does the Phlebotomist role involve? This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Excellent communication skills. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. Desirable: • Experience in a private healthcare setting. • Exeperience in customer service. • 2 years experience in Phlebotomy. • Sales / Retail experience.

Balcas’ timber products portfolio includes construction timber, fencing and landscaping products and pallet and packaging material. Balcas has led the development of the market for wood pellet fuel in Ireland and Britain. Balcas operates biomass Combined Heat and Power plants that produce renewable energy. Residual heat from electricity generation is used to dry locally sourced woodfibre that is then processed into high-energy fuel pellets – marketed under the company’s Brites brand, displacing 750 million litres of oil in homes, commercial premises and industry. Purpose of The Job As part of the Maintenance team the Maintenance Technician will assist in problem solving activities on key technical equipment problems and provide support to maintenance teams on equipment when required. They will work closely with all staff in each area to ensure the smooth running of core business plant, maximise the utilisation of machinery and equipment, proactively work to eliminate plant downtime and make improvements to the processes. Hours of Work Monday to Friday, rotating between dayshift and evening shift on a weekly basis Week 1 - 8.00am to 4.30pm Week 2 - 3.00pm to 11.30pm (shift allowance applied) On call rota for weekends – successful candidate will be on call every other weekend
