This level 9 certificate aims to equip in-service teachers with the requisite knowledge, skills and competence to support the development of an innovative learning culture within schools. The programme is teambased, technology-mediated, project-focused and cross curricular. Teachers undertake six modules from a total of 12 available, including those which focus on changing school cultures, innovative pedagogies and computer science education. The course is a collaboration between the School of Education and the School of Computer Science and Statistics. Context This role is part of a small team of administrative staff who provide services to management, staff and students within the School. The role reports to the School Manager of the School of Education. Although the role-holder will work as part of a team, they will have responsibility for delivery of certain parts of the operation within the School. The School of Education offers 8 programmes, with approximately 50 full and part time staff and 500 students. The role holder is the first point of contact for staff and students on the PG Cert in 21st Century Learning in the School and is responsible for providing a professional, efficient and welcoming services to all students, staff and visitors to the School.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a part-time (0.6 FTE) fixed term position as a research assistant to join our team at the CORRIB Core Lab Advance Imaging Laboratory, College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at the National University of Ireland, Galway. CORRIB Core Lab provides both invasive and non-invasive coronary imaging techniques and analysis methods using a number of different imaging modalities: • Angiography • Aortography • Echocardiography • Electrocardiography • Intravascular Ultrasound • Multi-Slice Computed Tomography • Magnetic Resonance Imaging • Optical Coherence Tomography • Quantitative Coronary Angiography. Job Description: The successful candidate will develop and technically execute a variety of advanced cardiovascular imaging and analysis methods of clinical datasets (imaging) derived from international cardiovascular clinical trials. Working closely with the CORRIB Core Lab Academic Team: Professors Serruys, Wijns, Onuma & Soliman and the clinical trials co-ordination team, the candidate (s) will support the analysis of cardiovascular imaging datasets. Main work includes: Analyzing of cardiovascular imaging datasets sourced from the clinical trials, Documenting the procedure of analysis, communicating with clinical sites regarding imaging, and converting these technical analyses into formats that are acceptable for clinical trial reporting. The Intellectual Disability Supplement to the Irish Longitudinal Study on Ageing (IDS-TILDA) was established as a supplement to the Irish Longitudinal study on Ageing (TILDA). This project represents an exciting opportunity bringing together researchers from Trinity College Dublin and IDS-TILDA, the newly established HSE National Clinical Programme for People with Disability (NCPPD), the College of Psychiatrists of Ireland and patient stakeholders to improve medicine use and reduce harm from medicines for older adults with intellectual disabilities. The project will use longitudinal medicines data from ten years of the IDS-TILDA and from the HSE national prescribing database to examine quality and changes in psychotropic medicines use among older adults with intellectual disabilities. The project will use longitudinal data analysis to examine the long-term side effects of these medicines and if a move to the community meant a reduction in medicines. The findings will be used by the HSE and College of Psychiatrists of Ireland to develop guidelines to improve medicines use. Development of OPTIMA-ID: Optimising Pharmaco-Therapy and Improving Medication for Ageing with Intellectual Disability This research aims to develop a pharmacotherapy optimisation tool, OPTIMA-ID (Optimising Pharmaco-Therapy and Improving Medication for Ageing with Intellectual Disability). OPTIMA-ID will be developed through literature review and focus groups with experts in medicines use in patients with intellectual disabilities and a final tool will be developed by consensus achieved using Delphi methodology. Objectives 1. Complete a literature search to develop initial draft prescribing indicators for older adults with intellectual disabilities 2. Conduct focus groups with experts in medication use in this population to develop indicators 3. Triangulate findings from Objectives 1 & 2 to develop a draft tool 4. Recruit expert panel and circulate tool for Delphi-consensus technique to a panel of experts in prescribing in older adults with intellectual disabilities  5. Engage meaningful Patient Public Involvement (PPI) in development and dissemination of the tool
