Warehouse Operative
Warehouse Operative – Day Shift Pick Team (WOP27/01) Rate: £13.40 - £13.90 + Weekend Premium The successful candidates will work closely with all members of the Logistics Team to ensure the prompt despatch of customer orders. The role will involve lifting cases of product and working in a chilled environment. Responsibilities will include accurately locating and picking chilled food products to provide a high service level to the customer. You will also be responsible for receipt checking of inbound goods, checking and despatch of outbound goods, stock rotation and assisting with stock checks. Previous experience in a similar role in the food industry, knowledge of food product, storage and rotation and good general education would be beneficial. Hours of work are as per a shift rota. Phlebotomist – Manchester – (Job Ref: 26/PBMH) Randox Health continues to be at the forefront of clinical diagnostics, dedicated to improving health worldwide with our disruptive technology and innovative diagnostic solutions. We have an exciting new career opportunity for a Phlebotomist within our clinic in the Holland and Barrett store on Market Street in Manchester. Location : 103-105 Market Street, Manchester, M1 1NN. Contract Offered : Full-time, permanent Working Hours / Shifts : 40 hours per week, alternating between a Monday to Friday and Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern. Start and finish times will be either 7.40am to 4.20pm or 8.40am to 5.20pm. For this position, as you may be in contact with live blood samples, you must be vaccinated against Hepatitis B or be able to get it following a successful interview stage. In line with Care Quality Commission guidelines, the successful candidate will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check. Right to Work Requirement Please note that this role requires candidates to have the legal right to work in the UK for a minimum of 12 months from the application date. This role is responsible for ensuring customers have an excellent experience from the moment they enter our clinic, taking blood samples from both private and corporate clients. This is a varied role that may also include the following responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive client appointments, including blood and urine sample collection, personal health measurements, and data entry into our Patient Information Systems (PIS). • Demonstrate sensitive communication to ensure client understanding and consent. • Maintain accurate records in PIS, uploading all relevant documentation. • Represent the company professionally at offsite events and appointments. • Engage in upselling and cross-selling at our private health clinic. • Proactively drive sales and exceed targets. • Complete company forms, specimen labelling, and laboratory test order forms accurately. • Demonstrate high IT literacy in order to manager various software systems and daily tasks. Essential criteria: • Previous Phlebotomy experience and certificate or equivalent training. • Confident using IT programmes. • Flexibility with working hours, as required by the business inclusive of evenings and weekends. • Flexibility to work from offsite locations at least once per month. • Excellent communication skills. • Currently have the right to work in the UK without visa sponsorship. They will work closely with all staff in each area to ensure the smooth running of core business plant, maximise the utilization of machinery and equipment, proactively work to eliminate plant downtime and make improvements to the processes.
