With the aim of preventing homelessness. Depaul’s Derry-based Harm Reduction Floating Support and Housing First services provide one-to-one confidential support to assist people who are experiencing difficulties with their tenancy and are at risk of homelessness due to alcohol and substance use. We visit people at their request in their own homes, and tailor the support we offer to meet their particular needs and reduce the risk of homelessness. Your new role You will be a member of a multi-disciplined team using holistic approaches to support Depaul service users. Working to a housing-led, low threshold, harm reduction approach, where service users receive a high degree of support and advice. Depaul has a commitment to service user participation and to empowering our service users to manage their own lives. The aim of the role is to support and signpost service users into services that will improve their housing, health and wellbeing while improving the service users quality of life. This is achieved through the provision of engagement and individualised support plans, targeted interventions, signposting and group work. We have an exciting opportunity for Staff Grade Psychologists based at our Enable Ireland Wicklow Children’s Services: Contract Type: Permanent Contract based in Wicklow Part Time 21 hours per week (.6WTE) Salary Scale: €57,549 - €90,771 “This pay scale is subject to increases in 2024 in accordance with the recent WRC interim agreement (Ref CAM -100101-22) towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.” Overall Purpose of the Post: To work as a member of the interdisciplinary team providing supports to children and young persons aged 0-18 years and their families within Children’s Disability Network Team (CDNT). The post holder will be responsible for the provision of psychology services to children and families attending services on the CDNT, to include assessment and intervention, clinical supervision and ongoing service delivery to children with a range of disabilities. This post holder will be required to work across a variety of settings including the clinic, schools, preschools and special schools, children’s homes and community settings. Overview of Duties & Responsibilities: Outlined in Job Description. Essential Criteria: Eligible applicants must: 1. Have a university degree or diploma (QQ1 level 8 equivalent) obtained with 1st or 2nd class honours in which Psychology was taken as a major subject and honours obtained in that subject And 2. Have an Irish post-graduate professional psychology qualification accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Clinical, Counselling or Educational Psychology Or 3. An equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction validated by the Department of Health. And 4. Demonstrate competence in the Care Group/s applied for And 5. Applicants with a clinical or counselling psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings, for the area / areas for which they wish to apply - Disability (Child and Adult), Child Psychology, Adult Psychology - either at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist. Note 2. Or 6. Applicants with an educational psychology qualification must demonstrate that they have acquired in appropriate health settings for the area / areas for which they wish to apply - Child Disability, Child Psychology - either at least 60 days or equivalent supervised clinical placements as part of the professional qualification; or at least 60 days or equivalent post-qualification supervised work experience as a psychologist. Note 2 . Note 2 : Combinations of supervised clinical placement experience as part of the qualification and post qualification supervised work experience within a single care group area to give a total of 60 days are not acceptable. The main responsibilities include monitoring and reviewing various operations such as manufacturing, quality control, analytical support, product development, and engineering to assess ongoing GMP compliance and product quality. The role also involves providing quality assurance support and advice to operational departments, implementing quality systems like deviation/CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Action) management and change controls, and actively improving quality systems to ensure GMP compliance and product quality. The successful candidate will also be involved in reviewing production and laboratory data, participating in the Supplier Management Process, conducting internal and external audits, and assisting in the compilation and review of various reports and agreements. ㅤ In addition to the above, the post holder will be the internal and external contact for queries related to product compliance and quality. They will also participate in audits of external suppliers and assist in hosting customer and regulatory audits. The role requires the identification, writing, approval, and implementation of critical GMP documents, as well as conducting internal audits and assisting in the compilation and review of Product Quality Reviews, Technical Agreements, and Risk Assessments. Additional duties related to ensuring GMP compliance and product quality may also be assigned. ㅤ The ideal candidate for this role should have a strong understanding of GMP compliance and quality systems. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to review data and reports for accuracy are crucial.
